GOP debate in Florida

I didn't get to listen to the debate last night, but it was on the Internet at MSNBC and so I downloaded it and listened. It was great. There was no sniping, no rudeness, just a good debate. The candidates answered the questions, you knew where they stood on the issues, and it sounded presidential. I think we have gotten so accustomed to the "reality" shows and the Jerry Springer mentality, that we think we need it. But it brings out the worst in people. I really enjoyed this one. It was educational, not sensational.

wow..now isn't THAT a switch.
Thats half the reason I don't even listen. The snappy rude remarks make me sick to my stomach..like is there one person out there running for something that doesn't have yucky garbage to say about their competition? I won't even watch t.v. the closer it gets to an election because I can't stand to hear the junk every commercial has.
I'll have to check it out, Im still so behind the times but your blog will keep me lurnin.

I especially loved the way Romney responded to the personal financing of his campaign question and how his being mormon would effect his presidency! Well done according to me.

I liked that too Rachel. He has been hit on his money for so long, it was good to hear a concise simple response. Too bad the media didn't play that part up.
