Christmas was quiet this year, but I was just as excited as always. I woke up at 3:30 and 4:30 and 5:30 and 6:30. I had promised Calvin I wouldn't get up until 7, but he woke up and I waited till he was ready then I scampered downstairs. It was fun, just the two of us. Bruce and Anita came over later and we went there. Then Daniel and Jenn came for dinner. We had crab (it was on sale) and shrimp and bacon wrapped moose, twice baked potatoes, and more, but I can't remember. It was just fun. I forgot to put the jello on, and it was so pretty.
We went to Temple Square in Salt Lake with my Mom. That was fun, and really cold too! Then we went over to City Creek, that is one confusing place, and ate at Kneaders.
We met with Sara's family on Saturday and opened gifts, then Janelle's then Jason's. I lost Mckenzie's gift. I wrapped a couple of puzzles hoping she wouldn't notice, but she did. She cried. So I put her on my lap explained what had happened. I promised that when I found it I would mail it. She is so cute.
Our youngest grandchild was blessed on Sunday. It was a nice day, we were all there, except for Thomas' family, they were in Texas. We missed them.

My old desk
This is what our new addition looks like - we love it!
And they love to play games!
Trying to take pictures
Opening gifts from Uncle Thomas and Aunt Cynthia
Everyone was here for Thanksgiving. We had a good time.

Adding onto the house
Calvin pulls off the chimney, Bruce pulls off the facia
Hauling cement from the old patio - these guys are stabilizing the tractor
Grandkids helping clean up.
Deep insulation in the garage
Cleaning out the insulation. Scott started it then Christopher, Daniel and Calvin got the rest down. I cleaned it up. Maybe that is why my garden is full of weeds.

You can see him standing on the front deck. It now has a porch over it - I love it.
View from the back deck.
We started tearing things down about July 24th, actually, Calvin started before then, but we had the major destruction begun then. This is the back deck, I will have to take a picture of the front - maybe tomorrow.
